Our Coalition Partner, Carnegie Endownment for International Peace welcomes Fonteh Akum as the new director of Carnegie Africa Program. Fonteh brings 25 years of experience and deep expertise as a researcher, leader, and practitioner. Most recently, he served as executive director of the Institute for Security Studies, where he strengthened the organization’s continental and global profile and oversaw research on six interconnected emerging themes.
